DR. CHRISTOPHER BLAKESLEE
Dr. Blakeslee obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Castleton State University located in Vermont. In 1999, he obtained a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. He completed a 2-year surgical residency at Parkview Hospital and City Avenue Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. After completing his residency, he returned to New Jersey where he grew up.
Dr. Blakeslee began practicing in Ocean County, NJ in 2001 and 2 years later he established his own practice, Jackson Family Foot and Ankle Care. The practice has been growing by leaps and bounds ever since. In 2007, he opened his second location in Lakewood, NJ. Dr. Blakeslee is on staff at 3 hospitals (Monmouth Medical Center - South Campus, Community Medical Center and Ocean Medical Center) and 1 wound care center. Additionally, he is on staff at multiple nursing homes and assisted living facilities. His practice is multi-faceted, including pediatrics, adults, sports injuries, wound care, surgical care and even home care.
Dr. Blakeslee is Board Certified in Podiatry by the American Board of Multiple Podiatric Specialties. He is also Board Qualified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery (rearfoot and forefoot). He is also a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the New Jersey Podiatric Medical Society. Lastly, he is certified for administering Hyperbaric Oxygen treatment protocols.
Over the past 15 years, Dr. Blakeslee has spent a large amount of time evaluating his practice and medicine in general. He feels the best way to achieve better outcomes is to take a more patient-centric approach. His goal is to give his patients the tools and guidance to stay a step ahead.
Outside of the office, Dr. Blakeslee enjoys spending time on the water enjoying the activities Ocean County, NJ has to offer with his wife, Kristi and two weimaraner’s, River and Izzy.
